Ministry: Serving as the Minister of Music and Worship for over 52 years, including positions at Trinity Baptist, Redford Baptist and Ward Presbyterian Churches prior to joining First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth.
Jerry serves as the coordinator of worship, including oversight of all special music for the worship services and overseeing all music organizations at FPCP. Jerry also serves as the Director of the Chancel Choir.
Education: Jerry is a graduate of the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. He has earned a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music and Doctorate of Education at U of M.
Family: Jerry is married to Sharon, who is a professional pianist and accompanist at FPCP. They have 3 children, Darrell, Kimberly and Carole.
Interests: In addition to the church, Jerry has taught in public schools throughout Metro Detroit. He served as the Director of Music at Bentley High School, in Livonia from 1959 -1985.
Jerry also enjoys reading and traveling in his spare time.

"I really enjoy my work with teens as I find they are the most fun group to work with at the church. You never know quite what to expect!"
Ministry: Mark spends most of my time at FPCP running the middle and high school ministries at the church. He runs the Tuesday night middle school nights, the Sunday night high school nights, fall and winter retreats, and the annual mission trip.
Education: Mark has been in youth ministry since he graduated high school in 1997. He has served at three churches: Fellowship Community Church in Aurora, CO as a youth ministry intern, First Presbyterian Church of Northville as minister to youth, and First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth as director of youth ministries. Mark has a Bachelors Degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University and a radio degree from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
Family: Mark is married to his wife, Sara since Oct. 20, 2001. They have one beautiful daughter named Abby Mae who was born on November 16, 2006.
Interests: Mark loves watching sports on TV, playing softball, and napping. At work, he really enjoys teaching the lessons on a weekly basis to the students. Mark is also the founder of Oxymoron Youth Consulting (oxymoronyouthconsulting.com). . |

Ministry: Betty enjoys working with brides in planning their special day. She also works with funeral families to help prepare memorial services, sells columbarium spaces as well as works with the church members in keeping the calendar up-to-date making sure there are no conflicts on the calendar.
Education: Graduated with an Associates Degree from Jackson Community College in 1984 with a major in business.
Family: Betty is married to Ron. They have two children, four grandchildren and a three "grand dogs".
Interests: Betty enjoys seeing the church calendar come together. Sometimes it’s like putting a jigsaw puzzle together making sure everyone gets a room. Betty is on many committees both here and at the church she attends, which keeps her pretty busy, but she loves spending time with her grandchildren as time permits and has started a scrapbook for each one of them. She also loves to read.

Ministry: To help facilitate bringing the Word of our Lord to the congregation and visitors via bulletins and newsletters.
Family: Carole has been married to John for 45 years. They have 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 1 very spoiled dog and 1 cat.
Interests: Carole thoroughly enjoys working on the bulletins and newsletters and the contact with congregation, staff and ministers.
In her spare time at home, if and when she can find any, she loves to read and listen to music. Her family is a very big part of her life.

Ministry: Jeanne's job is to provide the congregation with a record of their giving and to produce the financial records for the Church.
Education: Jeanne has a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from Central Michigan University
Family: Jeanne and her husband Larry live in Plymouth and have a daughter that currently attends the University of Michigan
Interests: Jeanne's spare time is usually devoted to outdoor sports of some kind. Winter months are devoted to skiing and summer to sailing. In between, gardening and cooking are her hobbies.
