Presbyterian Women (PW) is a church-wide organization whose membership is open to all women. Their members are women who choose to participate in or be supportive of the organization in any way. PW intentionally seeks the membership of women from all ages, interests, backgrounds and talents so that the organization may reflect a vision of the whole church. We have one thing in common, though, the desire to make a difference.
Presbyterian Women is organized at all levels of the PC (USA) in congregations, presbyteries, and synods as well as the General Assembly. This interconnected system allows ideas and information to continually flow back and forth to strengthen the work of Presbyterian Women and the ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
In 1892, six Presbyterian Women organized "The Ladies Aid Society" here at FPCP. Their purpose was to "assist the Church with financial and social concerns." For 115 years our focus has remained the same, and the women of our Church have honored this pledge. We hope you will also continue to support this time-honored tradition. |

| Within First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, you have the following Presbyterian Women opportunities to choose to participate in: | |
| Willing Hands Circle meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30a.m. in the Small Dining Room. This circle concentrates on service opportunities within our own church and community. | Contact Linda Luke at 734-455-0863 |
| Helen Beavers Circle meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30a.m. at church. This circle includes fellowship and Bible study for the older women of our church. Bring your bible, knitting and a sandwich. | Contact Millie Ferrari at 734-420-0692 for further details |
| Mission in Motion Circle emphasizes hands-on mission work helping children and youth. | Contact Jean Krause at 734-416-1760 |

WOW (Women
of the Word) Circle is an evening circle for
those women who work or who may not be able to get away from home
during the day. They meet once a month on the second Tuesday at
7:00p.m. at the church for Bible study, fellowship &, of course,
food.
W3 (Women in the Word on Wednesday) is a morning Bible Study currently meeting three Wednesday’s each month at 9:00a.m. |

The Presbyterian
Thrift Shop, in business since 1950, can always use help.
Volunteers can sign up for a two-hour shift once a month or once a
week. The Thrift Shop is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.
until 2:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The
Thrift Shop is located at 746 N. Mill Street,
Plymouth. The Thrift Shop is on Facebook. If you are on Facebook, search for "Presbyterian Thrift Shop Plymouth" and join the group. By doing so, you will be kept informed of special sales, events and pertinent announcements pertaining to this important mission of the church! Thinking PROM and GRADUATION? The thrift is accepting clean prom needs (i.e., long or short prom presses, tuxedos, shoes, evening bags, jewlery, accessories, slips) as well as graduation needs (i.e., caps/gowns or party items). No student should be deprived of participating in memorable school activities because they are unable to afford apparel. So please clean out your closets and get rid of those items that have just been taking up space!

Help - Thrift Shop - Please consider volunteering your time to work at the FPCP Thrift Shop any Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. For more information contact Linda Bernhardt at 734-254-1346. Thrift Shop is in need of prom items such as dresses, tuxes, evening shoes/purses, jewelry & accessories. Please consider donating these items that might be collecting in your house!
