Welcome to our midweek Ministry! A midweek Ministry is a bridge between Sunday services that helps to grow its members in relationship with Jesus and each other. We use the LOGOS program on Wednesday evenings – with some modifications to meet our Church’s needs. LOGOS theology goes to the heart of the Living Word – God loves us and wants us to be in relationship with Him. Our only rule - to treat each other as a Child of God. Through adult leadership with a Christ-centered-heart, acceptance, forgiveness and love, are modeled for our children. We are a parent run Ministry, and all adults with a heart for children are invited to join our LOGOS family. We have weekly Bible time, Worship Skills, and a Family Time dinner. Our Bible teachers are exploring an interactive Story Telling model for Bible time this year. Our Worship Skills leaders are introducing our kids to the many ways that one can ‘praise’ our LORD in service. Family time is where the kids enjoy a family style dinner with table parents, family friendly yummy food, and after dinner games. This year we have adopted a theme of LIVING THE BEATITUDES. Each month we have a mini-mission where we gather donations or monies to help care for those in need. We are also partnering with others from our FPCP family to host a packaging event in March with KIDS AGAINST HUNGER. A wonderful fundraising dinner in January is planned to raise monies – and to raise awareness of how we can all be better servants in our communities. Everyone is invited – but space is limited so please keep an eye out for when tickets go on sale! We also host a monthly Family Circle night. This is a special night where all members of the congregation are invited to participate in a unique event. From Game Night, to Caroling at Christmas, and even Date Night for adults, each month us uniquely planned bring us closer together as brothers and sisters of faith. This year our Wednesday night Ministry starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends with all members gathering at 7:10 for a closing activity. Scholarships are available and new registrants are always welcome. |

The LOGOS and The Oasis programs consist of four parts. Every youth participates in all four parts every week. Throughout each program, relationships are built between young people, between young people and adults, between adults, and, most importantly, between each individual and God.
Experiencing Christian community gives each person the opportunity to practice living as Jesus taught. We learn to treat each other as children of God. We learn what it means to respect each other and how to forgive. The whole experience is one of theology and practice, mixed with a lot of FUN! |
