	Our ministry focus is to demonstrate God's love for His people through member care and assistance in worship, and to engage in service to the Plymouth Community and God's world. Eighteen members serve staggered 3-year terms to fulfill the many activities of the Deacons.


	Activities:
	Opportunities for Deacons to serve include: Clothing Drive Food Drive Adopt-a-Family Salvation Army Bell Ringing Red Cross Blood Drive Christmas Card Tree & Christmas Gift Tree College Care Packages Deacon-of-the-Day Communion Service Greeting Cards Service Dinners Prayer Ministry Unsung Heroes Worship Transportation Session Committee Representation Member Care And many more!

	Regular Deacon meetings occur the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Calvin Room.


	Current Activities
	Food Drive is underway for the month of April. Return items to benefit the hungry in our community to the shopping cart in the lower narthex. Unsung Hero nominations are due, April 15th. See the newsletter or bulletin for more details.
